About this edition
June 10-12 at the University of South Florida
Applied Algebra Days is designed as a focused workshop within the RTG ecosystem at USF. The program brings together faculty, postdoctoral scholars, graduate students, and visitors for a few days of talks and interaction centered on current research in cryptography, coding theory, quantum computing, and related areas.
Beyond the formal program, the workshop is intended to create a welcoming environment for mathematical exchange across career stages, making it especially valuable for trainees who want both technical exposure and community.
This edition will coincide with the REU Site program in Cryptography, Coding Theory and Quantum Computing at USF. The workshop program will emphasize the topics of the projects that are running this year: boolean functions, quantum error correcting codes, and the code equivalence problem. In addition, we will have talks about the broader topics of the program (cryptography, quantum computing and coding theory).
